Check The Insurance Policy For Legal Cover For Bothersome Issues

There are so many types of legal issues, they are broken down into subjects or topics.  One such area is employment law.  This is very complex and has many sub areas and headings that one can make a claim over.  It is possible to take an employer to a Tribunal, the type of court in employment cases.   Although it is possible to handle the claim and represent in person, a  solicitor specialising in employment law is always going to bring about the best outcome for the claimant.

The first thing is to work out what the problem is – for example, if someone has been sacked, then they may feel that this action was unfair and depending on the actions leading up to the sacking, or dismissal of the person by they themselves, or the employer, a solicitor may well suggest that an unfair dismissal claim would be appropriate.  You can only claim unfair dismissal if you are actually employed by the firm – agency and casual workers would need to check their employment status.  You must have worked for the company for a minimm of two years, whether full or part time.  However, some very specific complaints would fall under Automatic unfair dismissal and the two year rule would not apply; protection by law would apply from the start of the employment.  An employment law specialist would be able to guide on these issues.   It is always worth checking the household contents insurance policy to see if legal issues are covered.
